Star Magazine Associate Beauty and Fashion Director Offers Style Inspiration From the Red Carpet

February 28,2011- From Natalie Portman’s glowing skin and her fashionable baby bump to Anne Hathaway’s classic Hollywood glamour, award season offers us more fashion inspiration than we know what to do with.  What’s exciting is that there are ways to adapt that red carpet perfection to your personal style in your very own home.  Taryn Adler is associate beauty and fashion director for Star Magazine says it’s possible for us to look as good as our favorite celeb even if we don’t have the team of stylists, make-up and hair professionals at our disposal. Taryn answers some of our red carpet style questions: 

What were your favorite looks from the Oscars last night?
Wow! What a night on the red carpet!  I loved the intense eyes, the up-dos and the plush skin that looks super dewy and fresh. And even from the Golden Globes and the Grammys, Eva Longoria, and Jennifer Hudson looked amazing and really nailed the trends of the season.  What’s really exciting though is that there are ways to adapt that red carpet perfection to your personal style.

How can we get inspired by our favorite celebs?
Well keep in mind they these celebs have a team of experts to help them look this good from head to toe so we can all learn from their expertise to create a look that’s all your own, but inspirited by your favorite looks.  One way to do that is through make-up and hair styles.

How can we make sure our fashion choices are always “hits” instead of “misses?”
The number one way to insure a “hit” on your own red carpet is radiate self-confidence.
