Gale Gand is a nationally acclaimed pastry chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, television personality, root beer maker, and mom. Gand was the host of the long running Food Network's Sweet Dreams, the first all-dessert show produced by the Food Network. She has appeared on Martha Stewart, Oprah, Iron Chef America, the Today Show, baking With Julia (Child). Gale has seven titles to her credit, including her most recent, "Gale Gand's Brunch", released in spring of 2009.
Jennifer H. Mieres, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P, a native of Trinidad, West Indies, is the director of Nuclear Cardiology and associate professor of medicine at New York University. She is a nationally recognized expert in cardiovascular diseases in women and is routinely called upon by the media to comment on heart health. She has appeared in national and local media outlets including two recent documentaries for PBS.
