JANA PREWITT:
“The United States Mint is connecting Americans through coins to Ulysses S. Grant, the Northern General who defeated Robert E. Lee’s Confederate Army in the Civil War. Grant brought his own Army staff to the White House and ran the Federal government a lot like he ran the Army. He served two terms as President and before he died in 1885, he wrote a best seller, still thought to be one of the finest military autobiographies ever written.”
