Bravo’s Platinum Hit Head Judge, Kara DioGuardi, Helps Find the Next Voice of the Folgers® Jingle
Gloucester, MA Resident Takes Home $25,000 for Her Interpretation of the Folgers Jingle
June 15th, 2011- Music industry mogul, award-winning songwriter, and head judge on Bravo’s songwriting competition series Platinum Hit, Kara DioGuardi, will be in New York to help find the next voice of the Folgers® jingle. Thousands of musical acts from across the country submitted their unique spin on the iconic Folgers The Best Part of Wakin Up™ jingle. From R&B to indie to a steel drum, the top five finalists encompassed an eclectic mix of musical genres and competed in a live audition event in New York City’s Times Square.

- Jered L. from Ft. Collins, CO
- John P. from North Port, FL
